Since its inception in 2004, Booktopia has grown to a powerhouse in the Australian book market, employing 300 people and achieving a record of selling one item every three seconds. This is a testament to Tony’s skills in leadership, negotiation, and strategic foresight.

Tony’s profound understanding of the challenges and triumphs in entrepreneurship, combined with his commitment to empowering small to medium businesses, makes him an invaluable asset to Brainiact.

Brendan Green

Brendan Green

Brendan Green is the CEO of Australia’s largest handyman business, Hire A Hubby, and Chair of the Franchise Council of Australia. He’s been building businesses for over 22 years and now shares his experience with the Brainiact advisory board.

Under his leadership, Hire A Hubby grew from a single franchise in 1996 to 335 in Australia, 50 in New Zealand, and 10 in the UK. He’s a recognised expert in franchising, holding a Certified Franchise Executive title with the Franchise Council of Australia.

Outside work, Brendan enjoys motorsports and spending time with his family.

Nigel Lindsay Smith

Nigel is an acclaimed sales leader with a notable track record at leading companies like Salesforce, Adobe, Pluralsight, and LivePerson. He has successfully managed sales and driven channel and partner strategies. With his deep-rooted passion for helping small and medium businesses, Nigel joins the Brainiact advisory board.

Recognised consistently as a top performer, Nigel has a knack for building teams and strategies, and growing accounts with a customer-first approach. His ethical, integrity-driven relationship-building ensures lasting partnerships and customer success. With these skills and strong work ethic, Nigel is an invaluable addition to the Brainiact advisory board.

Roger Jowett

Roger Jowett

Roger Jowett is the Chair of the Brainiact advisory board and former CEO of Motion Asia Pacific. Roger has propelled businesses to remarkable success, notably leading Motion to $700 million in revenue in 2022. With 35 years of international experience, Roger’s expertise will help guide the Brainiact advisory board.

Currently, he’s also a Non-Executive Director of VAE Group and advisor for Indonesia’s AbadiNusa Group, demonstrating his expertise in business strategy, operational efficiency, and team building.

Roger is passionate about empowering small to medium business owners, and does so as the advisory board Chair and Brainiact Mascot business coach.
